Idol Disappointment!!! Good Bye Allison
I will be the first to admit it- I was wrong, very wrong. Miss Allison undeservedly went home and Kris got lucky and stayed
. Kris has a good voice and he has done good through out this competition but based on this weeks performance he should have gone. Oh well, its done and can’t be changed.
As much as I like Allison and wanted her to stay till the final three, I had her pegged to leave long ago and she didn’t. I guess that’s why I got so hyped about her staying to the final three- she made it this far, she’s young, talented, and has a different kind of voice, she deserved to stay. She did, however, go out with a bang and I enjoyed watching the final American Idol performance for Allison. I am still hoping that Allison and Adam sing a duet together- I will be patiently waiting for it to hit the stands
.
Now for Paula Abdul’s new song and stage performance. I like Paula, I use to own her CD’s, and I liked the song. I wish artists would back off of the computer voice enhancements (which Paula used), it sounds cool for part of the song but I personally like to hear the persons real vocals. I wasn’t very keen on her outfit and the stage performance was alright.
Chris Daughtery once again blew the stage away. I can’t believe he didn’t win when he was on American Idol. I’ve heard a couple of rumors that his leaving was a set up because he received a recording contract and had to get started on it. Could be true but I can’t say for sure, it does make sense as to why he left so early when he has the vocals he has.
I am glad to see No Doubt back in action. I like the way they are going backwards- I think it is wise after such a long break. It gives them a chance to get back out there, pump up loyal fans, give them a new listen to previous hits and then bring out the new. Sounds like a good plan to me.
